REVIVE vintage

sustainable branding

Revive is a self-initiated project born out of my passion surrounding sustainability and cause-focused marketing. I wanted to imagine how packaging and promotional materials could be made if they were truly sustainable. The result is a conceptual repairs service for a vintage brand. It utilises 'waste' paper and other materials otherwise bound for landfill and turns them into something beautiful. The design centres around natural symbols, juxtaposed with litter, to reflect the notion that anything can be repurposed into something beautiful and that there is no such thing as 'waste'. Symbols are angular and geometric to indicate the human interference of taking an object from its 'natural' form and manually transforming or repairing it into something new and beautiful. The art direction of the photography reflects the notion of 'no such thing as waste' and sets the tone of the brand by using discarded materials.
